Shot Andy Warhol (1996)
I Shot Andy Warhol tells the story of Valerie Solanis, Warhol's would-be
assassin and founder of the SCUM (Society for Cutting Up Men). Focusing
primarily on the couple of years leading up to the shooting in June 1968,
the film uses flashbacks and soliloquies from Solanis to trace her theory
that man is a biological accident.
Basquiat (1996)
This is the story of Jean Michael Basquiat, a black artist that made it
big in the 80s, and his relationships with people, especially with Andy
Warhol. The film traces Basquiat's voyage from his early days sleeping
in a cardboard box in New York to the esteemed position he assumed in
the world of modern art before his death in 1988.

Director Jonas Mekas compiled his film diaries of Andy Warhol, taken from
1965-1982. This film includes music by the Velvet Underground and appearances
by Lou Reed, Mick Jagger, Yoko Ono, John Lennon, Caroline Kennedy, Allen
Ginsberg and many others.
Cocaine Cowboys (1979)
Cocaine Cowboys features a script co-written by Warhol and biographer
Victor Bockris, and was partially filmed at Warhol's estate on Long Island.
An almost-famous band supplements their income with cocaine smuggling.
When they attempt to sever their mob ties, they are forced into doing
one last job and lose 2 million worth of cocaine. Warhol makes an appearance
as himself.
